Garret has completed M.A English Literature from St.John's College Palayamkottai. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor of English at Nazareth Margoschis College. He has been awarded 'Junior Research Fellowship' thrice from UGC (2018, 2019, and 2019). He is also doing Ph.D in M.S University (2017 -2021). His Area of Research is Existentialism in Gabriel Garcia Marquez's Select Works. His recent research interests are Posthumanism, Memory Studies, Celebrity Studies, Human Rights Discourses, Literary Gerontology,Medical Humanities, and Graphic Medicine. He is also interested in delivering lectures on Literary and Cultural Theory.
