First-year Criminal Justice student, future profession in law enforcement still undecided. My desire to join the Criminal Justice system is the reason why I came to Sam Houston State University, where I am currently working on my Criminal Justice Bachelor of Science degree. During my first semester, I have been able to learn more about the criminal justice system while taking the class "intro to the Criminal Justice system" where I have been able to learn information about Criminal law, The Courts systems, and information about Prisons and Jails. I knew that I wanted to join the Criminal Justice system after I graduated from Highschool and I knew that SHSU was a great college for earning a Criminal Justice degree so I wasted no time in applying after Highschool. Now that I am at SHSU I am excited to be able to learn more about what opportunities that I may have for when I graduate with my degree.After I finish my first semester at SHSU I hope to have access to more opportunities and organizations in the remainder of my time here at SHSU and I hope they help me in my future with the Criminal Justice system.
