As a graduate assistant, I am responsible for assisting the offensive staff in any capacity. In addition to fluctuating daily responsibilities, I aid in coaching the Offensive Line inside and outside of practice. I also am involved in the game planning and installation process. Along with these tasks, I help organize and coach the scout team to best prepare our offense and special teams for each opportunity throughout the season. I have also been allowed to work closely with our Recruiting Coordinator and helped coordinate unofficial and official recruiting visits. Throughout my time as a Graduate Assistant, I have gained vast experience with XOS, Hudl, Arms Software, and all of Microsoft Office Applications. While I have only been in this role for a short time, I do believe that I have excelled in every facet and continue to improve my work at a rapid rate.During my time at East Tennessee State, I played for two head coaches Carl Torbush and Randy Sanders. I also played for three Offensive Line coaches Erik Losey, Dewayne Alexander, and Matthew McCutchan. I played for two coordinators former two-time Super Bowl Champion Antonio Goss and former Head Coach at Nicholls State and Buffalo Bills Special Teams Coordinator Daryl Daye in regards to Special Teams. As a coach, I have received the chance to also work under Daryl Daye and now Bryan Stork in regards to operating the special team's scout teams. My experience with all of these coaches is one that I am very fond of and feel very blessed to have worked under. While playing for Matthew McCutchan and Daryl Daye, I received the opportunity to work under them in different facets. While still playing during my senior season, I was allowed to be a part of the weekly breakdowns for our upcoming opponents. I specifically broke down on XOS the team’s fronts, stunts, blitzes, and tendencies while also charting on special teams.
