I work with my co-producer, Jack Counts, to write, produce and distribute action-packed, dark comedy short films (and feature films down the road) in and around Oklahoma. We're currently fundraising for Winning Ticket, which is set to start principal photography in November 2024.

I collaborated with 2001 Pulitzer Prize-winning Professor John Schmeltzer, former CNN correspondent Mike Boettcher and Dr. Julie Jones to aid students in their multimedia journalistic storytelling in and around Norman, Oklahoma. Awarded the Provost’s Distinction in Teaching for Graduate Assistants, which is marked by being in the top ten percent of all graduate assistants by student evaluation. This teaching assignment included teaching a weekly story-pitching lab, grading stories and conveying basic mechanical journalistic practices.

Collaborated with D Custom's editorial team during the summer of 2018 by writing editorial stories for custom publications, proofing blog posts for clients, writing blog posts for D Custom's website and spearheading content calendars for a national account. My accomplishments were: -Managed Avocados From Mexico's account, which included creating a full-year editorial calendar and proofing blog articles.-Fact checked blog articles for Texas Heritage For Living/Avocados From Mexico and pitched ideas for D Custom's blog.-Wrote 8 articles for Texas Heritage For Living, the award-winning, quarterly publication for Texas Farm Bureau Insurance.-Managed Lennox' summer advertising campaign by conceptualizing ad ideas and editing copy.-Conceptualized and presented a hypothetical advertising campaign with a group to the entire staff under the D brand.

I collaborated with Tres Savage, Editor-in-Chief of NonDoc, in conjunction with the University of Oklahoma to report on events and legislation at the Oklahoma State Capitol. From following daily beats to providing thousands of online readers with updates and hard-hitting stories on the 2018 Oklahoma Teacher Walkout, our stories provided much needed coverage of the Oklahoma State Capitol.

What started as a summer internship at Territory: OKC magazine, OKC's quarterly city guide, turned into a full time position the following summer. As an intern, I was tasked with mostly administrative duties around the office as well as a few small reporting assignments and social media management. The following summer, I was promoted to Publishing Associate and tasked with selling advertisement, managing sales, solely running client's social media channels (Houzz, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), managing quarterly distribution of 15,000 issues and reporting on cultural editorial stories around the metro.

During the summer of 2015, I had the opportunity of working with the wonderful team at The Mission Entertainment to vet screenplays, provide feedback (up to four pages per screenplay) and assist executives with administrative tasks while occasionally pitching my own screenplay ideas.

Provided Eclectic Pictures with coverage of screenplays, which included reading 2-3 screenplays per week and provided at least four pages of feedback per screenplay. Feedback was delivered digitally.
