I fulfilled Quality Assurance tasks, including configuration, testing, error reporting, and FDA compliant documentation for automated external defibrillator units and batteries.

I participated in the manufacture and install of custom winter sailboat covers. Manufacturing responsibilities included measuring, cutting, and sewing canvas components. Installation responsibilities included erecting and securing metal and wood frames on sailboat decks, spreading and tying down covers, and loading/unloading vehicles for work orders.

I worked in cooperation with CLiCK management and several other MEM students to propose and develop several solutions to enhance the organization's customer-facing business processes and resources. Primarily, I led the development of decision support system software written in VBA for Excel that helps CLiCK personnel assist their clients in assessing the viability of their commercial ventures. I also participated in the creation of a user manual for new customers that contains information and links resources that they need to get their business off the ground and begin legally making and selling food products, including business registration, licensing, and regulatory and tax compliance. Additionally, I helped to create a marketing guide that would help CLiCK improve their social media activities to increase exposure.My work for CLiCK was my senior capstone engineering project. It took place under the supervision of my MEM professors and had to meet their requirements. My group wrote a formal engineering report together in which we detailed our analysis of CLiCK's challenges, our research into potentially applicable solutions, our development of novel alternative solutions based on that research, our evaluation and selection of those solutions based on client needs, and our creation and implementation of the chosen solutions.

I used Word and OneNote to produce and upload notes in accordance with specific formatting guidelines for classmates in need.

I compiled databases of start-up executive contact information for marketing purposes. I used Microsoft Excel formulas to simplify the process of aggregating the information.

I assisted the head machinist with receiving, final assembly, testing, and shipping of riveting machines. I learned about safety, organization, and general best practices in a job shop environment.
