Use a variety of computer-aided design tools to develop plans for new industrial processes and process improvements. Perform field surveys using Leica ScanStation 3D laser scanning equipment, operating in challenging environments requiring specialized training and attention to detail with respect to safety. Integrate 3D models of new designs with laser point clouds to ensure compatibility with existing equipment. Convert models into drawings for engineering approvals. Act as on-site technical representative during project construction.

Created and reviewed all types of engineering documentation concerning structural aspects of aircraft design and certification. Developed structural substantiations, weight and balance analyses, test plans and reports, detailed drawings for primary structure and interior modifications, wire routing designs, and repair specifications for commercial airliners, business jets, agricultural, and general aviation aircraft. Traveled internationally to interface with customers for sales, support, liaison, and testing related to new product design.

Collaborated with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement cost saving strategies throughout the company. Personally proposed over $200,000 in annual cost saving ideas. As a group, our team was credited with reducing annual costs by over $1,000,000.

Traveled the state of Arkansas and surrounding region providing technical support to a licensed Professional Engineer. Personally represented the firm to dozens of clients throughout the state. Performed on-site evaluations of large commercial and industrial buildings, apartment complexes, and single-family residences. Utilized computer-aided design tools to document site plans, floor plans, foundation plans, and structural repairs.

Served as liaison between engineering and production for the completion of Dassault Falcon 7X series aircraft. Designed repairs to resolve production issues, regulatory squawks, and specific customer requests. Analyzed previous repair documentation to find and correct repetitive issues occurring in the manufacture and installation of all types of aircraftcompletion hardware.

Led the development of custom interiors for Hawker business jets from concept to customer delivery. Reviewed customer specs and design sketches, conceived and delegated new designs, and coordinated with manufacturing, material planning, quality control, and FAA representatives to produce high quality, certifiable aircraft. Maintained strict schedules in order to ensure on‐time production and delivery, supervised and trained designers and engineers, and implemented product and process improvement programs. Acted as project manager for multiple FAA certification projects, and served as a primary point‐of‐contact for engineering issues related to production aircraft.

Coordinated the design of the Hawker 800XP/850XP galley system, including the basic shell, doors, drawers, plumbing, provisions for vendor‐supplied appliances, electrical wiring, and the installation of the completed galley onto the aircraft itself. Worked in conjunction with manufacturing, quality assurance, electrical engineering, and FAA certification personnel to ensure that galley related engineering met all customer and regulatory requirements.
