My goal and intent is to find a career where I can achieve a position with growth while improving my skills and helping others. In 2016 I worked at Shopko in general merchandising where my tasks included unloading incoming merchandise and staging it for the sales floor. Other tasks that I had included customer assistance, facing shelves and back stocking excess merchandise. This area of work taught me work ethic and the importance of customer centered service. In May of 2017 I started working at Door County Cottages in pursuit of a job working the front end of the resort. I started as the assistant manager, managing the day to day tasks of running the resort. This included bookkeeping, receivables/payables, social media, postmaster, minimal accountant, website designer, order supplies etc. Other tasks include assisting cleaning staff, gardening and landscaping maintenance. This area of work further improved my work ethic and taught me the importance of responding to situations with diligence.
