-Lead the design, implementation, operational hand-off and documentation of several projects to upgrade the network of a single government customer and its pre-production replica lab network. Projects include:-Supported/lead several hardware refresh projects for pre-prod and prod networks at DCs and remote sites, including one project to transition from Cisco ASA firewalls to Fortinet Fortigate NGFWs.-Designed and lead the complete overhaul and upgrade of the lab network.o Designed and implemented a hybrid cloud integrating an AWS VPC with the upgraded lab network.-Designed and lead the introduction of BGP to the pre-prod and prod networks, to transition away from static routes and IP SLA for greater flexibility and dynamic routing.-Participated in a software design team to provide networking perspective to system being developed.
