Veteran international assessment industry leader, having managed successful e-assessment client projects across Europe the Middle East, and Asia over two decades. I currently provide independent strategic advisory services to organisations operating in the assessment sector. With 18 years senior executive business leadership experience as Prometric’s former VP EMEA, I led diverse teams delivering a consistent record of profitable strategic business growth, client retention, operational effectiveness and built enduring strategic client & partner relationships. During this time I was also Director of the Driver Theory Testing Service in Ireland.. For 4 years until 2018 I served as President of the Dublin Region of IBEC, the Irish business representative body and was a past Chair of the European Association of Test Publishers. I have been a regular speaker at assessment and driver testing industry conferences in Europe and around the world on the application of technology in the e-assessment arena. I represented the company at CIECA, the International Commission for Driver Testing and the American Chamber of Commerce in Ireland. Prior to joining Prometric in 2004, I spent 14 years with Reuters, the global media and technology company in a number of senior management roles with assignments in the UK, USA and Ireland and spent a further 10 years in the financial markets working in the treasury field. I am a Board member at the eAssessment Association, a member of the Institute of Directors, and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. I also serve as a Director / Trustee of the Mount Anville Sacred Heart Education Trust and served for 8 years on the Advisory Board of the Centre for Assessment Research, Policy and Practice in Education (CARPE) at Dublin City University.
