- Doing undergraduate research under Dr. Saeed Salehi working closely with graduate students.- Researching fluid loss problems using permeability plugging testing and particle size diffraction.- Presented work at least once a year for on campus poster and presentation contests.- Researched geothermal energy possibilities on campus.

• Worked with StimPlan software to create hydraulic fracture models for five formations in south Eddy County, NM.• Worked with Chevron’s Delaware Basin completion team throughout the summer on various projects.• Went into the field to see single well plug & perf frac operations, four well pad zipper frac operations, a workover rig running tubing, and the Nabors X30 drilling rig.

- Completed all of Chevron’s training, including HUET and SafeGulf- Got experience working in Chevron’s Covington office- Did a summer project on plug and abandonment procedures and cost- Also worked on Genesis/Nabors 85 (deep-water SPAR), Petronius/Nabors 87 (deep-water compliance tower), and Hercules 120 (jack-up)

- Led a team of high school students for two ten-day sessions.- Improved commitment, time management, public speaking, and leadership skills.- Promoted to Team Advisor after only one session.- Worked as a team with the other TAs to maintain student safety and effective logistics.
