Social Indoor is a nationwide franchise that provides digital and print advertising toa captive audience. I'm working on web and mobile projects as a full-stack engineer,and am a valuable design resource. My biggest accomplishments so far include:• Containerizing apps with Docker and deploying them via ECR and ECS.• Securing important business secrets by integrating Auth0 authentication.• Reducing technical debt by porting a proprietary CMS web app from .NETFramework 4.5 to .NET Core• Future-proofing APIs by versioning them and extracting business logic intoservices to more easily support multiple versions• Cutting expenses in half by designing elastically scalable APIs, which were thendeployed on AWS via services like EC2, s3, ECR and ECS.• Accelerating UI responses by caching server responses on the frontend, writingmore optimal queries, virtualizing scrollboxes and carefully designing the API.• Increasing users' productivity of a proprietary CMS by ten times. This was doneby rethinking the design of its central feature, which allows a user to place adson a variety of print and digital boards across their nationwide network.

Brion Finlay Engineering, LLC is a privately funded LLC startup building a confidential e-commercewebsite builder for small businesses that is still pre-launch. In my role, I worked alongside 4 full-timedevelopers doing full-stack development including React front-end, PHP Laravel back-end, GraphQL,and automated PHP Unit testing. My biggest contributions included:• Sped up UI responses in the central feature of the app by five times. The central feature providesa UI for the user to configure custom products. By refactoring it, the UI response was improvedand the code used with became more re-usable, readable and modifiable• Standardized form handling across the application, improving validation logic, error handling, andapplying standardized UI patterns. Accomplished this by migrating ad-hoc form code to Formikin React.• Allowed customers to enter their address for deliveries or finding nearby business locations bydeveloping location-based features. Customers enter their address in the React front-end, whichis submitted to a GraphQL query, where the backend then interfaces with a Google Maps API
