Garrett is a Member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects and a Registered Landscape Architect who began his career in golf design in 2009. Prior to studying in Scotland, Garrett received his Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture, with a concentration in turf management, from Cornell University. While at Cornell, he completed an internship with the maintenance department at Bethpage State Park Golf Courses, home of the Black Course, learning what it takes to keep the golf facility in world class condition.Through his studies, Garrett has had the opportunity to study and play some of the great golf courses in the United States and United Kingdom.Previously, Garrett was a project manager for a landscape architecture firm working on parks, recreation and open space projects.
