I'm currently studying Computer Science and Creative Computation at Southern Methodist University. I'm in my senior year, graduating in December 2023. I have a versatile skillset and I want to devote it to creating inspiring, immersive video gaming experiences.As a computer science student, I have worked on many projects requiring knowledge of a wide array of languages, including C++, C#, Javascript, Python, HTML, CSS, and Java. My primary goal is to find my place as a gameplay programmer, but long term I aim to move into production/management roles and one day direct my own game.I've had my sights set on game development since middle school when I immediately jumped at every opportunity available to learn about computer science. Eight years later, I've been involved in a number of projects, taking on various roles. In 2021 I led the development of a mobile video game for a client, performing team management duties as well as core and UI programming and design. In 2022, I worked a summer internship in Colorado where I was tasked with assessing and merging two 3D-based graphics solutions into a single program for companywide use.Outside of academic and professional projects, I like to keep my skills honed and try to constantly learn new things. As the vice president of the SMU Game Development Club, I'm constantly connecting with eager, like-minded people and organizing fun, exciting events to help foster their creativity. In addition, I've begun building a personal web-based project in Babylon.js (I'll let you know when you can play it!) and drafting concepts for other ideas that cross my mind.In my personal life, I keep many hobbies. I play video games passionately, I read comics whenever I can, and I love to build LEGO sets.
