As a student at Concordia I am active in two sports, Golf and Ice Hockey. Being able to experience new forms of competition at a collegiate level has allowed me to meet amazing people and hear unbelievable stories. I played Junior Hockey in Texas, and as a Wisconsin native, this produced many opportunities to grow, not only as a person, but as a professional as well. The maturity and knowledge I gained through those two years heavily shaped who I am today. While sports are my main passion, I still take time out of my athletic life to partake in community-based events. I have lead two food drives for my schools, the first being when I was just a second-grade student. I love helping others, whether it is something drastic like a food drive, or something small like smiling and saying hello. Being able to connect to others easily is a huge skill to have, and I have done this throughout all of my experiences. I thrive in difficult situations, and always produce well thought out work in a timely manner. I consider myself to be a leader in the workplace, however, I understand that I have much to learn and do so eagerly.
