I am a highly motivated and driven professional with a passion for technology and networking. My journey into the tech industry began as a child when my father, an engineer and defense contractor, and I started programming in QBasic. I continued to learn and develop my skills in various programming languages and eventually completed a degree in Computer Science.In my early career, I honed my skills in network administration and troubleshooting, developing expert proficiency in a variety of networking technologies. I spent nearly a decade working as an IT contractor serving major organizations and governmental agencies where I developed a reputation for quickly learning and applying new skills and apply them in real-world scenarios, allowing me to provide effective and efficient solutions to complex technical problems.My love for "how things work" and my passion for athletics eventually led me down a different career path where I reframed my career to developing student learners and athletes and helping them achieve their fullest potential. At work, I take pride in my ability to put others first and achieve great results as a team player. I am relentless in ensuring that the standard is met and that I present myself, my company, and my team well along the way. I am also someone who is not afraid to go the extra mile to get the job done, and I am always willing to take on new challenges and learn new skills to further develop and add value to my team.My strong self-learning abilities have allowed me to successfully complete mission-critical projects such as cloud migrations, SIEM implementations, and data backups. I have also achieved several certifications through self-teaching methods, demonstrating my ability to adapt and learn on my own.Outside of work, I am passionate about equality for women in tech and sports.
