Marine Corps Embassy Security GuardGuard mission personnel and prevent the compromise of national security information and equipment at US Embassy compounds.-Provide 24-hour, armed internal security for a United States Embassy as a Marine Security Guard (MSG).-Conduct security inspections. Control access into the chancery building by monitoring security equipment and providing escort for all non-cleared personnel.-Provide immediate security of the chancery building in the event of an emergency to include intruder containment, bomb searches, internal defense, fire-fighting, safe haven egress, Chemical, Biological, Radio-logical and Nuclear response, and other missions during exigent circumstances.-Coordinate with numerous Embassy and Federal Government officials on a daily basis.-Serve as a model representative of the Marine Corps and U. S. Government in a high-visibility overseas post, both on and off duty.
