Lead Artist & Game Developer
Current-Collaborate with colleagues to produce the artistic vision and game development for the Virtual Clinic, an ECU College of Nursing simulation for students. Translate intricate nursing scenarios into visually captivating game environments by considering the design and focusing on form and functionality for students. Works closely with team members, educators, students, and healthcare professionals, ensuring a personalized and industry-standard approach to training on a case-by-case basis simulation. -Utilize various software throughout the production of this project, integrating Unity Engine for running, Autodesk Maya/Mudbox/Photoshop for modeling and texturing, and Visual Studio for coding. Utilize Microsoft Rocketbox and Headbox for patient models and animation to enhance realism and player immersion. Ensure WebGL compatibility and consideration of performance optimization for seamless experiences across diverse machine specifications.-Produce a diverse array of high-quality 2D and 3D graphics, animations, and assets using Autodesk Maya, Photoshop, and Unity. Implement advanced texturing for heightened visual realism, including individual textures based on character models for unique cases while minimizing file size and resource usage. -Conduct comprehensive testing and quality assurance procedures. Able to identify and address visual and gameplay issues, collaborating with coworkers to fix, improve, and innovate the Virtual Clinic design and experience. -Thrive in a primarily in-person studio environment while demonstrating flexibility in transitioning to remote work settings. Familiar with studio dynamics, combining expertise in interpersonal relations while utilizing software and hardware tools to enhance digital art creation.
