As a student at IU in the Kelley School of Business studying Accounting and Finance, I am always pushing myself to get better inside and outside of the classroom. My perspective has been shaped by my willingness to learn, my role as an adaptable team member, and my recognition of opportunities.During my Business Presentations class, I learned how to adapt to any situation thrown at me during group presentations. Having to change my section of the speech, to match the rest of my members, two days before the presentation taught me how to be an adaptable team member.Spending the last three years caddying taught me how to take advantage of the opportunities put in front of me. Taking care of members’ needs resulted in relationships that created future opportunities for myself.In the future I hope to work a job that provides me opportunities to put my skills to use and better myself every day. While playing lacrosse in High School, I consistently asked questions and made sure that I was learning something new and getting better every day. I hope to continue doing this in a new environment.
