Garrett is President of Horizon Planning Group and has been with the firm since its inception in 2006. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner and is one of four planners serving clients across the United States. Garrett has an extensive knowledge of business management and the issues which business owners face every day, including employee benefits such as qualified retirement, profit sharing, 401(k), and Simple IRA plans. He also works with non-profit organizations to help maximize their planned and charitable giving. His background in political science affords Garrett the experience and insight in recognizing the risks global, social, political, governmental, and economic effects have on financial markets and client's investments. In addition to acting as a fiduciary with fee-based asset management, he also manages commission and brokerage accounts on an as needed basis.Garrett has the "heart of a teacher" when it comes to his clients.
