Enlightening the NX world with enjoyable learning events!I am the NX CAD lead instructor, helping customers gain the knowledge and skills in NX and Teamcenter to improve productivity, better utilize the state-of-the-art software, and build character by understanding the bigger picture of corporate CAD applications. From east coast to west, Canadian border to all points south, I deliver to the uninformed and even to those who thought they knew everything about NX. Users of other CAD products are enlightened to see the truth beyond simple reputation; that NX is the superior CAD/CAE/CAM tool.Developing courseware for NX as well as custom, topically tailored packages, I author the manuals, activities and projects, support materials, and administrative tools. I confer with customers to assess needs and identify effective business processes. Configuration and implementation are also a part of the program since I am well versed in installation as well as customization. The classes I conduct are enjoyable experiences filled with discovery and the satisfaction of understanding not just which icons to use and how to develop fully parametric, feature-based models and assemblies but dynamic, associative drawing annotation. From upgrading a graphics card to installing a new license file from Siemens, I'm up to the task.My role often includes pre-sales demos and conferences where impressed managers and anticipatory power users realize they are on the verge of implementing the most powerful CAD/CAM/CAE tool available today. As the Training Manager, I developed and delivered training for Siemens PLM products, mainly NX CAD, Cortona3D content management and publishing software, as well as provide pre and post sales support. I wrote courseware for the RapidAuthor products as well as developed syllabi and support materials for Siemens NX7, NX7.5, NX8, and Teamcenter Integration. In addition, I served to implement and configure the NX product for new installations as well as migration from other CAD systems. I developed and implemented a Needs Analysis process that successfully harvested multiple weeks of training. And I even developed a pre-certification preparatory course for the Siemens NX8 Designer Certification test.

On contract at the Navistar Engine Facility in Chicago, IL, I supported their migration project from Ideas to NX. I was the resident NX Subject Matter Expert and was responsible for developing, authoring, and delivering training to their 100+ users.I was the primary authority for the CAD configuration and had sole ownership of the .dpv files to accommodate the maximum benefit in environmental settings to accomplish the business processes.Working with the IT administrators, my contributions to the Teamcenter Integration settings were successful in customizing and enabling enhancements to the Ideas business processes and in the utilization of NX's robustness.I developed customized training for re-engagement of the entire user base for all engine platforms which includes the scope of neophyte assembly line workers to engineering analysts.
