On a daily basis I develop robust and manageable solutions to complex client problems using the WordPress platform. I am responsible for managing my own projects and communicating with clients to assess their needs and provide and excellent development solution and service.

I was the lead product designer/engineer at Capsim. My daily responsibilities include designing and developing new products and services and working to develop Capsim into a modern e-learning web application provider. I was hired for my knowledge of current best practices and knack for forward thinking to elevate the Capsim brand. Currently I am designing and building a custom component library to speed up product iteration and cut down on development time. I also am developing a design workflow to compliment Capsim's desire to adopt an Agile methodology. After being hired I advocated for moving to a Sass based workflow as well as worked to modernize the way the front end of Capsim's simulations are built.

As a developer at Adage I worked on front end technologies such as sass, html and jquery to build websites for our many clients. In addition I was a designer and got to build out many of my own designs which gave me a unique understanding of both perspectives when it comes to creating products for the web.

On a typical day at Groupon, I worked on existing designand generating new concepts for editorial content additionsto the website. Most notably I created a concept for a Yelpstyle review landing page. This was designed to drive moreusers to the site by offering more points of entry from agoogle search for example. I also did some minor front enddevelopment mostly consisting of html and css with asmattering of javascript.
