As part of Allstate's Management Consulting Service (AMCS) I have the opportunity to work with business leaders to help achieve their strategic goals to shape the way that Allstate does business in a rapidly evolving industry. I am responsible for leveraging management consulting methodologies to find creative solutions to complex issues facing the insurance industry today. Most recently, I have been staffed on our enterprise transformation working with high-level stakeholders on how to save the company upwards of ~$600M.

While being a part of the Leadership Development Program (LDP) at Allstate, I have had the opportunity to gain cross-functional skills while gaining exposure to many different areas of the business. As part of my experiences, I have worked in underwriting which gave me a wholistic understanding of how insurance policies are structured and the different pricing components to consider, I gained experience on the financial side of Allstate's business by working with Financial Specialists to ensure accurate and compliant compensation and I have worked with leaders to help define their strategic visions as part of my role as a management consultant. I have served as the Philanthropy Board member for the LDP program that consists of planning and organizing several philanthropic activities for all 150 members of the LDP program.

While working in for Allstate Financial Services, LLC, I had the opportunity to develop a compensation team and help implement new technologies to make agent compensation for financial specialists clear and in accordance with rules and regulations put in place by FINRA. Additionally, I updated several outdated processes that resulted in savings for the company.

As an analyst on the Countrywide Underwriting team for Encompass, I managed our trailing documents and made the necessary updates and changes to ensure solicitation of the correct documents provided sufficient proof for coverage and discounts. I was the business lead on several initiatives including two that impacted all Encompass agents by providing them with an updated questionnaire as well as software to pre-fill information about potential clients.

As a wealth management intern, I constantly performed market research to support Senior Advisor investment recommendations. I helped my Senior Advisor organize portfolios in order to improve reporting efficiency and easy communication with clients. Throughout the entire summer, I conducted an intensive independent research project on Tesla resulting in a presentation to the entire office on the long term investment benefits of Tesla. To gain experience on smart investment strategies, I interacted with several high net worth clients to gain insight on market behavior. Finally, I developed several excel spreadsheets detailing companies financial information and conclusions that can be drawn from them.

As an aquatics director I was responsible for managing all pool activities. This included the staffing and supervision of all lifeguards. I constantly worked with senior management to develop smart and new ways to interest people in coming to the pool such as activities and promotions on holidays such as the Fourth of July. Finally, I assisted in hiring new lifeguards to ensure the pool was always running smoothly.

As a head lifeguard, I developed my teamwork and leadership skills by being responsible for weekly scheduling and the supervision of seventeen lifeguards. I sharpened my time management skills by being accountable for pool functionality that required strict adherence to daily schedules. In addition, I had daily conversations with senior management to give updates. Finally over a four year period, I maintained a zero incident safety record by working with staff to create a culture focused on safety.

Being a lifeguard has let me make relationships with club members in order to make the pool a friendlier environment where families feel safe letting their kids swim. I also organized pool activities on holidays in order to let families fully enjoy their time at the pool.
