Garrett Navia is Managing Director of DaGrosa Capital Partners LLC ("DCP"). DCP is comprised of experienced private equity professionals as well as sports industry executives who bring expertise in the acquisition and management of companies across various industries. As Director, Navia is responsible for the firm’s overall investor relations efforts and process including sourcing, transaction structuring, financing and executing post-closing growth and operational strategies. Navia is also Director of of Kapital Football Partners ("KFP") a soccer holding platform company within DCP.Navia also serves as Director of GACP Sports LLC, which made its debut in the business of sports in 2018 through the acquisition of Soccerex Ltd, the world’s largest organizer of soccer business conferences, as well as F.C. Girondins de Bordeaux, making GACP Sports LLC the second American business to invest in French professional football. With over 16 years of private equity and operational experience, Navia has been involved in transactions ranging from $15 to $200 million in enterprise value across multiple sectors including: food and beverage, sports/entertainment, consumer products, financial services, media and communications, telecommunications, technology and manufacturing. He has led teams on buy-side acquisition transactions, from deal origination, target screening, to raising the necessary debt and/or equity capital and negotiating terms of the transaction. Additionally, Navia has project managed multiple teams of specialists, in areas such as operations, accounting, taxation, legal, IT, and human resources.Prior to this position, Navia was a Partner at Core Value Consultants, an independent advisory firm that provides strategic, operational and financial management services to entrepreneurs and small and middle-market companies. Previous private equity roles include AG Advisory Group, AG Capital Partners and 1848 Capital Partners.Navia is currently a board member of the Posse Foundation and aims to be a catalyst for individual and community development and help train the leaders of tomorrow. He has a dual major degree in Business Administration and Psychology from Elon University and an EMBA from University of Miami’s School of Business in Accounting and Finance.
