I am a recent graduate of Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and a Minor in Computer Science. I am immensely passionate about storytelling and long to bring more wonderful stories into the world. I fell in love with stories long ago and I fully believe in their power to grow and change people, to touch hearts, to coax out both laughter and tears, as they have so many times for me.Of course, my skills go beyond just the written word. As a manager at Panera, I learned to lead diverse individuals and create hardworking teams in stressful environments. In addition, I gained a level head that, when paired with my cool disposition, allowed me to solve urgent problems with swift results. As the Lead Designer of my college magazine and the co-founder of a weekly creative writing workshop welcoming writers from all over LA, I gained proficiency in planning ahead and learned to efficiently manage my time. I have become someone that can be depended on to lead or to follow and produce quality work at every turn. Most importantly, I hope to continue growing as I move forward. I grew up surrounded by stories. I wouldn’t go anywhere without my books, squeezing out mere moments to devour another paragraph, whether in the classroom or in the comfort of my own home. Stories have always been a part of me and when I found out I had an affinity for telling my own stories and growing other’s, I saw my path laid out for me in ink, on paper.And I have not once looked back.
