Working between 30-40 hours combined in the editorial office and out in the field, I designed a 4-6 page spread on Adobe InDesign and handled communications between my department's writers and the corresponding sports information directors within the Rutgers athletics department.Overall, this position turned me into a jack-of-all-trades journalist. I was a daily beat reporting breaking news in competition with established writers at NJ.com, APP.com and others. I edited the http://dailytargum.com website, publishing and slotting stories on the home page and sports section.
