I became an automotive technician in 2014. Throughout my career I have studied repair through GM Service Technical College completing the GM Master Certification level in engine repair, automatic transmission, manual drivetrain and axle, suspension and steering, brakes, electrical/electronic systems, heating and air conditioning, and engine performance. Completing eight areas of certification at the master technician level for GM gives me World Class Technician status, the highest level of achievement earned through GM. I have also received the master certification level through Automotive Service Excellence, as well as a certification as an advanced level specialist.During my time as a technician I enrolled at Georgia Gwinnett College to focus my skills on the engineering side of mechanics in 2021. While attending GGC I joined the Grizzly Aerospace club. My second semester after joining the Grizzly Aerospace Club I was elected as an officer and acted as treasurer to the club. This club focused on the rocketry side of aerospace which became an exciting hobby for me to build, design, and launch rockets. I joined the National Association of Rocketry in 2022 and In April of 2022 I received a level 1 high power certification through NAR.My enjoyment for rocketry and aerodynamics lead me to a discovery flight taken at Advanced Aviation where I found a new passion, flying airplanes. I am currently enrolled at Middle Georgia State University as a sophomore studying aviation science and management while at the same time working towards my pilot certification, ratings, and required hours to build a career in the aviation industry as a commercial pilot.
