As an ALT I currently teach in a wide variety of settings. I teach at nursery schools, kindergartens, elementary schools and a middle school. Occasionally I do other work such as assist in high school programs. Every day brings its own challenges. I love working with children but if they are anything, they are unpredictable. This job has really helped me be quick on my feet in adapting to many random situations. It is also teaching me time management, as much time at home is spent preparing for the future days' work.

As an intern, I do clerical work such as organizing the Mayor's contacts and mail. I also assist the Department of Planning and Development by creating the city of Newburgh's Film Office website. There is also work with completing grants to get the City reimbursement.

I worked as a Sales Associate for the Japaense fast fashion brand. In this job I learned organization, especially with a store this size. There was much cross-cultural exchange with an extremely diverse set of fellow associates. I was promoted two times in my tenure here. The company helped me develop managerial expertise even as a associate. You were expected to accomplish your task and know what to do next. This was at the same time helping newer associates achieve the high standards that were set.

As an intern for Senator Kirsten Gillibrand I did clerical work such as answer phones, compile constituent issues, and sort the mail. The job required me to help in planning a grant workshop for Firefighters and attend meetings with organizations in the Albany area. These meetings would deal with getting federal funding for projects and I would write letters of support.
