As a Sales VP with Highland Capital Brokerage, I partner with elite advisors and top producers in Hawaii. I work with both independent and institutional advisors. My goal is simple...to help them serve their clients. In this capacity, my focus is on insurance planning. However, as a fiduciary financial advisor, I come to the planning table with perspective. I strive to provide advisors with effective case design coupled with holistic, comprehensive planning. I'm passionate about what I do and welcome the challenges my team of producers bring to my attention daily. It keeps me current and on the frontline, always striving to learn about the latest and most up-to-date strategies and financial solutions. Whatever 'good stuff' I learn from others', I share with the advisors I support everyday.As a kid growing up on Maui, I surfed, dived, picked puka shells (& opihi) and constantly played in the ocean. In my private practice, I purposely specialize in serving a unique 'waterpeople' niche in these beautiful Hawaiian islands. Today, as a deep sea fisherman (i.e. 'weekend warrior') myself, I choose to serve these salty souls, like me, who passionately love the ocean. Ultimately, I enjoy working with successful kamaaina to deliver world-class solutions for a stress-free retirement. My overarching focus is simple...always doing the right thing for those I serve.There is more to financial advice than where to put your money. Everything we do in life impacts our money. Everything we do with our money impacts our life. People have purpose and intent with their money. As a fiduciary, I believe financial planning should not focus on products to sell, it should focus on decisions the client is trying to make. Our greatest resource is not money, it’s time. John Randolph wrote that, “Time is at once the most valuable and most perishable of all our possessions.”As an investment fiduciary, my obligation is to always put my client's interests first when making investment decisions.
