OmniPro is Ireland's largest independent solution provider for accountants providing technical and strategic support services to ensure that firms meet their regulatory compliance requirements. My role as Practice Support Executive involves carrying out pre and post monitoring visits to accountancy firms throughout Ireland, the provision of technical support services to clients and the completion of hot and cold file reviews as required under the direction of the Regulating Institute. In addition I assist with the preparation of CPD training material and deliver CPD through designated courses, in-house training and online platforms.

I was a Quality Reviewer with the Chartered Accountants Regulatory Board – a body established by CAI to regulate its members. My role as a Quality Reviewer involved carrying out on site visits to Chartered Accountant Ireland member firms to review audit firms processes and audit methodologies and to assess the work carried out, including judgements made by partners, on key audit and accounting issues.

With FGS/Moore Stephens Caplin Meehan I was a Director in the Audit Advisory unit of the firm. I worked on audit clients in both the public and private sector. My private client portfolio consisted of small to large sized indigenous companies and subsidiaries of foreign parents with reporting offices in Ireland. My public sector work has focused on grant reviews at University Level and reporting for European Union funds used within Ireland.

I worked as a Manager in the Middle Market Group of the firm working on audit client in both the public and private sector. In later years I gained experience across Europe in the audit of Structural and Cohesion Funds. I have extensive experience of audit and accounting assignments in both the public and private sector, serving large and medium size indigenous companies ranging from trade associations, IT companies and manufacturing companies. In the public sector my work was focused on grant claim audits reporting to the EU and development and documentation of procedure manuals
