I have had the opportunity to work at many different companies and I am proud of the diversity of experience I possess. One of the biggest skills I believe to be most important as I look to employment post-graduation is my vast real-world experience. Having been raised with a strong sense of moral responsibility, I have volunteered much of my time as a youth in benefitting non-profits and charitable functions and events. As I began to compete in international Track and Field competitions, of which I am proud to have represented my country and bring home many medals, I traveled to many different countries around the world including Switzerland, Amsterdam, London and many others. I learned how to be respectful to different cultures as well as how to interact with people.As an amputee going on 20 years, and with a focus in Biomedical and Mechanical engineering, I am proud of my expertise on Prosthetics and hope to eventually work to manufacture Prosthetic parts and attachments. Having seen many areas of improvement on my own prosthesis, I am excited to take my findings and experience into the field to enhance everyone's experience with prosthetics.The reason why my work experience is so diverse is because I have found a lot of different things I enjoy doing and I see how I can apply these experiences in different jobs as well. I am a student at CSU until Spring 2025 so I will be unable to accept job offers until then. I will try to get back to you as soon as I can!
