I was a software engineering intern at Haiku Deck, a presentation Web/iOS app startup featuring Zuru, an AI platform that helps automate the design and creation of presentations. I contributed to research and development for the Zuru service and its new features based upon creating presentations from various external content. Utilized Node.js and React.js for development.

Manage and contributed to a team developing driver assist functions to be showcased in a 2016 hybrid-electric Camaro. We developed a next-generation driver assist system with simplicity and safety as a priority.We built a working vehicle simulator to test algorithms on and a full-fledged driver awareness system to monitor a driver's attention using metrics such as distraction, sleep, phone usage and happiness. This concept won Most innovative use of data, Best Travel hack, and 3rd place consumer appeal. The work involved a React js and D3 based frontend, embedded hardware running realtime computer vision, neural net based detection using Tensorflow.
