With over 15 years of experience in estates and facilities management, I am currently the Head of Estates at The Royal Bath & West of England Society, a charity that promotes agriculture, education, and rural development. I am responsible for the maintenance, security, and improvement of the 240-acre showground that hosts various events and exhibitions throughout the year, ranging from trade shows and festivals, to livestock shows and competitions.My core competencies include managing budgets, contracts, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and leading a team of staff and contractors. I am passionate about preserving and enhancing the heritage and value of the showground, while also ensuring its sustainability and accessibility for future generations. I enjoy working with a diverse range of stakeholders, from event organisers and exhibitors, to local authorities and community groups, to deliver a high-quality service and a memorable experience for our visitors.
