Responsible for the strategy, implementation and development of the Digital Distribution side of the WB Games business - with specific focus on PC Distribution, Premium Downloadable Content and the Direct to Console markets. With oversight for WW revenue and opportunities, the role expanded to include the identifying, evaluating and building a business case for a number of emerging platforms and their differing business models. Over the years WB’s digital business saw massive expansion of their digital footprint, along with the resulting increase in revenue, as well as seeing their content being used with several groundbreaking technologies. WB were one of the first movers into the cloud based streaming business and made some strategic investments in this sector at that time. Digital distribution and downloading of content is now a ubiquitous part of the industry, and so much of my time was spent on looking at how WB can take advantage of the increasing number of emerging platforms and routes to market that are becoming more commonplace.
