Engaged to build the Canberra branch’s Fire business, my role has progressed to manage a portfolio of national key accounts including large government and private sector accounts. I am responsible for partnering with senior leaders to develop fit-for-purpose solutions. Most recently, I have championed the concept of ‘compulsory asset capture’. Leading implementation across contracts and trades, I have helped to maximise the effectiveness of asset strategy and fire protection, ensuring full compliance while at the same time, realising significant benefits across the business ecosystem. I also contribute to thought leadership both in- and outside of the business, mentoring ~60 team members on fire solutions and representing the organisation with the FPA. Delivered 100% growth over 2 years in Canberra, creating holistic offerings with competitive differentiation; Introduced compulsory asset capture into all business contracts across trades, improving reporting and transparency across the entire ecosystem via an additional layer of governance across all pillars of testing; Realised 80% conversion rate on defects against an industry standard of 10%, focusing the team on detail and presentation of service delivery.

Recruited to develop a Fire business within the existing, well-established HVAC business, I collaborated with the GM to build the new division amidst a complex and dynamic regulatory environment. I oversaw all business development and account management for the Fire technology division, conducting the entirety of the contract process and leading relationship development with new clients and networks. I recruited, managed and trained a team of 4 sales professionals in addition to establishing a broader leadership remit within the HVAC business with regards to compliance and performance management.Built the Fire business from the ground-up into a significant revenue line, championing client-centric solution development to meet objectives;Implemented a new bespoke software solution to digitise and incorporate AS1851-2005/2012 into in-house software ARMS, strengthening organisational compliance; Developed new service offerings, e.g. building a successful minor works division by introducing the concept of Fire Orders issued by Councils into the business.

Mandated with securing maintenance projects to ensure the fire division met its financial targets, I developed relationships with new and existing customers, leading all business development efforts in the SE QLD region. I managed end-to-end contract development and closure, engaging primarily with GM, facilities and procurement managers, applying a solutions-focused, consulting approach to client relationship management. Achieved sales and business development targets, returning the business to growth.
