At INTO University of Stirling, I deliver a comprehensive range of academic courses and support services. My responsibilities include teaching English for Academic Purposes to prospective undergraduates, leading modules on Critical Thinking and Sociological and Political Concepts, as well as conducting in-sessional academic skills workshops for master's students.A key focus of my teaching is fostering critical thinking skills while also helping students develop confidence in public speaking and presentations. I specialize in guiding learners to find their authentic voice, employing various techniques to overcome anxiety associated with public speaking. This approach not only enhances their academic performance but also prepares them for future professional challenges.Additionally, I provide one-on-one learning support tutorials, addressing individual academic challenges across various disciplines. My teaching approach has garnered recognition, including a student-voted teaching excellence award in 2023 and a runner-up position for the best teacher award at our institution in 2024.By leveraging my diverse academic background and teaching experience, I create an engaging, inclusive, intellectually stimulating environment. This approach cultivates essential academic skills and prepares students for success in their academic pursuits and beyond. Worked as an Assistant Language Teacher at two senior high schools in Yokkaichi City. Duties included lesson preparation, weekly lessons, exam creation, as well as creating and administering speaking tests. Developed a curriculum for oral communication lessons built around improving and assessing student's speaking and listening proficiency. Also involved in preparing students for EIKEN and TOEIC testing. Served as a judge for the recitation portion of the Mie Prefecture prelimenary round of the Prince Takamado Trophy 69th All Japan Inter-Middle School English Oratorical Contest.Served as a regional advisor (duties detailed below) for other Assistant Language Teachers in the Suzuka and Kameyama areas of Mie Prefecture from June 2016 to June 2017.

Taught General English to intermediate and pre-intermediate learners, and performed a role as personal tutor for Academic English students. Taught a group of visiting Japanese undergraduate students during February and March, and have also taught some English for Academic Purposes to students looking to progress onto a Masters degree.
