I then manage the software development team and processes to allow us to deliver our goals.A key part of my role is to work with stakeholders both within AMS and our external partners to understand their requirements and opportunities, which informs our product development roadmap.

-Internship-This six month internship was a module of the Bsc. Computing Degree completed. Based in Dublin, the computer services board is responsible for the life cycle of new applications to be used by local authorities throughout Ireland.This involved discussions with relevant authorities the requirements of new projects; designing prototypes and reassessing requirements and following the project life cycle through to roll-out. Training and support was also provided once after the project was complete.Departments were split into teams of three which worked together as efficiently and effectively as possible reporting to the team leader as problems and milestones were met.Main project achieved was the design and implementation of a Visual Basic application which allowed local authorities to record and monitor historically protected structures in their area, using a method of recording the structure to a map.The main technologies/languages used in this role were Visual Basic, MapInfo (GIS) and Microsoft Access.
