Owners lead electrical engineer on the Grosvenor construction project and upgrades to Moranbah North CHPP and facilities as part of the Grosvenor Project.• Managed the client electrical and automation project processes to upgrade the Moranbah North Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP) including all required HV and LV infrastructure.• Provided safety leadership to ensure all electrical activity was conducted safely and to relevant regulations.• Managed site and consultant engineering teams to deliver procurement, construction and commissioning of all electrical and automation upgrades.• Managed client procurement activity required to monitor and deliver nine switchrooms which included 11kV switchboards, 415V MCCs, Rockwell 415V VVVF Drives, AB Control Logix PLCs and Citect HMI. The 11kV power systems management utilised 61850 communications for upstream trips and monitoring.• Managed the Yokogawa Centum CS3000 DCS replacement in the Moranbah North CHPP as part of the CHPP Upgrade Project with Citect HMI and AB Control Logix PLCs. While DCS are not common in coal mining CHPPs and TLOs they are among the most reliable control system platforms available with almost zero downtime if maintained and installed with some level of network and processor redundancy. This DCS was originally installed as part of the "greenfield" Moranbah North Project in early 1999 and ran flawlessly for 17 years before total replacement in early 2016.• Managed and provided technical leadership to the site and consulting engineers.• Managed the compliance to regulations of electrical systems and processes.

PM and OE for all EC&I system components of the Dartbrook Mine CHPP Project including the Citect HMI and AB PLCs, MCCs, Transformers & site HV distribution systems.Site Construction Superintendent, PM and OE of the Southern Colliery Transport Project including all EC&I systems, management of all subcontractors covering civil, mechanical, process equipment, electrical and control systems, commissioning of works for the 6km transport system. The transport system included a reclaim tunnel under a longwall production stockpile, feeders, linking conveyors, rotary breaker/scalping screen crushing station, 5km overland curved conveyor, driven by VSDs, 1000t surge bin and transfer conveyor to existing CHPP infrastructure.PM of the German Creek CHPP control system upgrade to a Yokogawa Centum XL DCS without a major production shutdown. This control system was recently replaced as part of the Lake Lindsay CHPP upgrade to the German Creek infrastructure to a Citect HMI over AB Control Logix PLCs after operating flawlessly for 14 years.
