Current24 Years in-depth experience of LAN and WAN over 2 large Data Centers and 200 VPN remote sites. Design, Installation, configuration, support and maintenance of the local and wide area network environment to meet the business and security objectives of the City Council and other customers across a Cisco Campus.Installation, configuration, support and maintenance of network devices and associated technologies to ensure robust, reliable, secure operations of the City Council's networked infrastructure, using industry standard routing protocols, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VPC Implementation of secure, reliable ICT solutions appropriate to the business requirements of the City Council and other customers using Cisco Security Appliance's.Responsible for design implementation and maintenance of 200 site VPNs.; Participation in all aspects of the technical support process to meet the business objectives of the City Council and other customers as required.Provide technical leadership to the enterprise for the information security program. Mentor and train others in information security in addition to training for other technical groups. Install and maintain security infrastructure, including IPS, IDS, log management, and security assessment systems. Recommended preventive, mitigating, and compensating controls to ensure the appropriate level of protection. Maintained security of voice and data networks and equipment. Monitored and maintained physical and logical security and access to systems. Knowledge of ITIL practices and ISO27001 and PCI DSS.
