Omachron Protective Services (OPS) is comprised of a small, elite team of protection specialists competent in all aspects of personal and physical security measures and counter-measures, firefighting, emergency medical response and hazardous materials management.As President of this force, I am responsible for corporate vision, personnel deployment and standards maintenance. OPS provides fact-finding, consulting and executive protection services to various organizations.

Ontario Guard Services (Durham) was a full-service security and investigations agency comprised of over 300 team members dedicated to providing well trained, highly motivated security guards and private investigators to government, businesses and individuals within Durham Region. Major work included providing alarm response for all schools run by the Durham Board of Education (now known as the Durham District School Board), guard services for numerous supporters of the auto industry, alarm response for Eastern Nuclear Services of Ontario Hydro (now Ontario Power Generation) along with many other contracts.As Director of Operations, Training and Standards I was responsible for providing leadership on a daily basis for over 300 employees including recruitment, client interface, labour relations and staff development. I was licenced by the Province of Ontario to perform both security and private investigation work. In the absence of the owner I was responsible for running all aspects of the business.I personally developed and instructed a training program (the Basic Security Training Program) for new officers ensuring all personnel had the knowledge necessary to provide excellent service to our clients in a safe and timely fashion. It was widely accepted that this training directly resulted our clients having a high level of satisfaction with our staff and our team members feeling more confident in performing their duties.In concert with two other senior team members (both children of the owner), we completed an intensive ISO 9000 Program training us in all requirements to become registered to this standard. After tremendous effort, Ontario Guard Services (Durham) successfully became the first security agency in Ontario to achieve ISO registration. Shortly after my recruitment to my current position, the company was sold at a good profit to a large multi-national security agency.
