The role involved the development of complex pricing models to analyse the impact of tariff strategies on customers. These models were used to inform regulatory submissions, following the constraints of regulatory determinations.

Responsible for analysing the marketing database, my role as a customer database analyst provided key input for the TRUenergy/EnergyAustralia marketing campaigns and planning strategies during the Transitional Service Agreement period. This critical analysis delivered valuable insights for these initiatives.

My responsibilities were under the Transitional Service Agreement (TSA) to both TRUenergy and the former EnergyAustralia Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customer base. This included tasks such as setting electricity and gas pricing, conducting customer load profiling and reporting, and implementing carbon charges in Ausgrid's pricing and billing system. My role was critical in ensuring the smooth delivery of these services to our valued customers.

As a part of my role, I conducted detailed analytical work to support the development of retail pricing strategies for EnergyAustralia. This included maximising profitability and ensuring prudent risk management in all pricing decisions. Additionally, I comprehensively understood competitor pricing and pricing strategies across all states where EnergyAustralia competed. In addition to pricing analysis, I also provided support to the regulatory department by assisting in the preparation of submissions to regulatory agencies.

As part of my role, I was responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality management accounting information, analysis, and advice to the Business Unit. This included coordinating the preparation of annual budgets in alignment with group parameters and deadlines. Additionally, I provided timely and accurate forecasts, along with detailed variance analysis reports, to support effective decision-making for the Business Unit. My contributions were crucial in ensuring that the Business Unit had the financial insights needed to achieve its strategic goals.

I was responsible for developing and preparing gas pricing for the medium to large customer segment. This involved the creation of robust models, databases, and financial tools to enable accurate analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Additionally, I maintained and managed strong relationships with Wholesale, Sales, and Network teams, facilitating effective communication of pricing-related information.
