I currretly serve as the Training Development Manager for CoolSys. I manage a team of SMEs and Instructional Designers who create dynamic and scalable training opportunities for CoolSys technicians and management. I previously served as Director of Academics, Skilled Trades for Altierus Training Solutions. Our mission is to provide custom and off-the-shelf solutions for trades training and upskilling. Previously, I served as the Dean of Trades at ECMC Education, which oversees Altierus Career Colleges in Florida, Georgia and Texas. Our team worked extremely hard on laboratory and curriculum improvements, which resulted in being named a top 5 school in the nation for our electrical program. Before that, I served as a Program Coordinator and Assistant Professor at Nashville State Community College from 2006 to 2017. While there, our team built a highly successful program which grew from 16 to 100 students over a ten year period. We were also instrumental in the development of a strong and highly respected Industrial Alliance which grew from 5 local industries to over 20 with a state and regional impact. I was honored there by having the training wing named after me. I have also worked on several task force teams with the Tennessee Board of Regents concerning curriculum issues which spanned across 13 state Community Colleges. I have presented at several conferences and colleges on a wide variety of topics concerning curriculum and delivery. I also won a Donna Lancaster award for online excellence presented by the Tennessee Board of Regents.
