About Garry Morgan, Miet, Mbcs

With nearly two decades of experience in the Further Education sector, almost 18 years working in the Motor Vehicle sector including 15 years working in Security, it was time for a change. I am still as passionate about providing high-quality and relevant learning opportunities but have moved to a different sector to work in a different way. FE has been an experience but right now 20 years feels like enough and I am long overdue a break which I will have whilst helping others enjoy their holidays/breaks at CenterParcs. I am truly looking forward to lending my experience to helping guests learn and enjoy new skills.Although I enjoyed working in FE at many levels, my desire to be on the frontline was relit after I started coaching at my archery club. Working directly with people learning the skills and watching them improve is really rewarding. There is nothing quite like seeing the joy and happiness that learning can bring.Educational SkillsI have a proven record of enhancing the teaching, learning, and assessment practices across various awarding bodies using various platforms, such as Moodle, Canvas, Microsoft and Google. I have extensive experience in leading and managing change, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards, and supporting staff development and performance. My areas of specialism include: - Teaching, Learning and Assessment- Coaching and Mentoring- Innovative Problem Solving- Conflict Management- Change Management- Curriculum design and development- Internal and external quality assurance- e-learning and ILT integration - ICT Systems Support, Networking and Security
