I decided to join my father Paul Ashmore in his company Ashmore Associates in 2004, from being flooring agents for various carpet and tile manufactures we decided to buy and sell our own. For our first project we supplied non slip flooring tiles for the Ambassadors Hotel, London, just three years later we undertook one of our most complex and successful installations, Superwhite quartz tiles bonded to access panels for Bloomberg in Finsbury Square. Ashmore Associates has gone from strength to strength, we undertake projects in natural stone, quarzstone, and porcelain. From porcelain tile flooring to fabricated porcelain, natural stone tiles to fabricated natural marble, limestone, granite, our long experience helps us to provide our clients the best value for money, service and products.

I started my own company promoting dry carpet cleaning materials and hard floor cleaning chemicals, we successfully sold to David Lloyd tennis centres to clean indoor tennis carpet. In this period I learnt invaluable experience of how to clean and maintain interior furnishings, how barrier matting is crucial to protect indoor surfaces from damage and the importance of regular maintenance. I developed an interest in enzymatic cleaners, BP developed very innovative cleaners but ultimately the technology proved to be too expensive to be used on a commercial scale.
