Working in collaboration with businesses, organizations, government agencies, educational institutions and individual citizens, The Center expands Indiana’s global interest through a variety of programs and services and through convening diverse interests who share common international goals. The International Center is a member of the National Council for International Visitors.The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for managing the Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology and Board Governance functions of The International Center. The position is responsible for implementing the vision of the International Center’s strategic plan, successfully managing contracted service providers, and developing and implementing all operation plans and budgets. The COO must step in for the CEO when needed and positively represent The Center in the community.1. Manage budgeting process and monthly budget and forecast reporting to executive and financial committees2. Manage external accountant and audit firm to ensure compliance with IRS requirements3. Manage all external relationships related to banking, investments and finance4. Lead strategic plan development process and implementation with board and staff5. Ensure board meetings and communications are clearly articulated and implemented6. Manage all aspects of HR including:•Staff recruitment and terminations•Payroll and benefits•Employee orientation and handbook•Relationship with PEO and their contract•Performance evaluation process7. Manage all contractual agreements between International Center (IC) and external entities
