Accountable for contractormanagement and realization of clients (Human Settlementsand Housing Development Agency) end needs in order tosuccessfully manage and relocate beneficiaries intotemporary then permanent dwellings.Developing and managing the maintenance framework andprogramme for the defects liability period of N2 GatewayHousing( Delft,Joe Slovo,Nyanga).I deal with management of low cost housing projects from thedevelopers’ perspective; namely planning, budgetary control,monitoring and ensuring the provisions of thecontract are adhered to.I deal with setting up documentation as required forcontractual purposes, namely contracts, letters ofappointment and reports etc.I liaise with various consultants and the community toensure proper co-ordination of the project as required fordue completion.Chair project meetings were all stakeholders are present,namely Contracts Managers, Contractors and ProvincialGovernment.I deal with the setting up of claims for payment fromProvincial Government and verification of claims receivedfrom the contractors.I managed the maintenance period of the projects and putsystems in place for the rectification and monitoring thecompliance thereof as well as ensuring client satisfaction. Iissue the contractors with certificates as required, afterverification of the stages of works completed.
