Since I was offered employment with TXM Plant I have finished my Level 3 - Plant Maintenance. Once I completed my Level 3, I have been working on our Pre-Upgrade Project. The project involves refurbishing parts on machines that are likely to cause breakdowns, therefore increasing the reliability of the kit.I was promoted to Engineering Foreman for TXM Plant after only 12 months of working for the Company. In this role I am responsible for three members of staff plus the training of three apprentices. I often have to meet tight deadlines and work to specific criteria.

This was the starting point of my rail career. I worked my way up, starting with dieseling up machines and doing basic servicing. I was then offered the opportunity of a Plant Mechanics Apprenticeship at Bircham Newton College where I achieved my Level 2 in Plant Mechanics as well as various other qualifications. After obtaining my Level 2 I proceeded to do my Level 3 but unfortunately the Company went in to administration, forcing me to leave.
