NexMetro Communities develops multi-family properties in a single-family living style of detached rental homes with high-end finishes and private backyards. I manage the construction process of multiple communities through the development pipeline in the Phoenix market.

Petsense is a national retailer of pet supplies and services focusing in underserved smaller markets. With a strong growth strategy to add more stores nationally, I oversee the construction of the new retail locations with a growth of over 100 stores within the past six years. This involves store design approvals, lease compliance, contractor selection and bidding and owner's representation. I oversee the pre-construction and permitting process and project management during construction.

I manage production and scheduling of a 16-story student housing high rise next to the University of Arizona. The structure is post-tensioned concrete floor slabs. I am involved with material procurement, scheduling and subcontractor management, safety, code compliance and city inspections, RFI's and engineering clarifications, and project documentation.

Responsible for coordination of design and construction of new and remodeling retail stores and restaurants in malls within our portfolio. Currently I focus on 8 regional malls in Arizona, Utah, and smaller power centers and urban village commercial centers in the Phoenix metro area, with previous tenant coordination in the Pacific NW and California Bay Area. I have project managed several large projects including a new $1.5M food court in Phoenix, remodel and HVAC and emergency management system upgrades for new theater in Phoenix, Aeropostale build out in Redmond, Washington, and pre-construction budget feasibility and zoning considerations of restaurants in Silverdale, Washington and Capitola, California. I have coordinated over 300 tenant projects, working with architects and designers for storefront approvals and mechanical, electrical, and emergency management systems approvals.

Established budgets and job costing for custom and semi-custom homes. Approved and bid jobs to subcontractors; created database for current job pricing.

Managed construction of over 300 single-family homes and multi-famiy condo units for a national homebuilder. Constructed 13 model homes on fast-track production schedules. Served on the Senior Construction Council to streamline best practices throughout the division.
