Continued work with the Department of Energy's Industrial Assessment Center at ETSU and the Department of Education's Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GearUp) in East Tennessee. Faculty advisor for the ETSU Robotics Club and the ETSU chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Performed industrial energy audits for several area manufacturers through the East Tennessee State University Industrial Assessment Center and the University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services. Provided suggested process modifications and generated official U.S. Department of Energy reports with recommendations leading to millions of dollars in avoided utility costs.Developed several classes at East Tennessee State University, primarily in the field of automation and robotics.Participated in management, design, and support roles for various extracurricular educational projects including grants, students’ theses, community outreach, government contracts, and competitions.
