Directly responsible for all aspects of running the GrownUps operation. Key roles include day to day management & smooth running of GrownUps business unit, driving business development and growth of existing GrownUps partnerships, leadership and support of sales manager direct report, leadership and support of 2 x Cigna marketing & communications dotted line reports, develop & execute new GrownUps strategic initiatives, management of the P&L to ensure both expense & revenue targets are successfully met, develop & oversee GrownUps new business (advertiser) marketing plans & GrownUps traffic (new member & visitor) marketing plans, liaise & work closely with all Cigna business units including – Senior Leadership Management Team, Actuaries, Sales & Marketing, Finance and Information Technology. Key Highlights from July 2018 to present: - Membership growth of ~15%.- Overhaul of sales process taking focus away from short term bookings to longer term strategic partnerships. Resulted in 44% of 2020 target presold and booked prior to end of December 2019.- Online travel insurance sales increased Year on Year by 92%.- Successfully launched GrownUps Member Benefits discount App. - Implemented Members Only Premium content channel- Published ‘The GrownUps Longevity Economy Study’ – A research / report style booklet providing key insights & information for exceptional marketing to New Zealands 50+ generation.

Directly responsible for all revenue via direct advertising sales, agency advertising sales, eCommerce sales & cost per lead modelling. Key roles include new business hunting, customer retention, account growth & management, campaign management, creating & implementing client marketing solutions, recruitment and sales team management. Achieved 75% revenue growth in year 1 and maintained same revenue level year 2.Part of management team continuing to grow & evolve the GrownUps brand, site, reach, revenues & business right across New Zealand, in order to service this rapidly growing and increasingly important demographic. At the same time, also worked closely with the new owners, Cigna Insurance, post-deal in April 2016.GrownUps is New Zealand’s largest online lifestyle magazine, social club & brain-training hub for the active 50+ demographic.May 2016 to June 2018: - doubled monthly traffic from ~80,000 to ~160,000;- grew membership 120%+ from ~80,000 to 150,000+;- grew weekly newsletter subscribers from ~36,000 to 80,000+;- grew content items (mostly unique articles) 80%+ from ~5000 to 9000+; - 75% revenue growth in Yr1GrownUps has operated in NZ since 2006 and is an advocate for all (slightly!) older New Zealanders and their families, seeking to make the most of everyday.As one of the most important and growing groups of New Zealanders, GrownUps provides a hub to go to for relevant and engaging articles & information across all areas of interest.On offer: 9000+ mostly unique lifestyle articles & items from travel, health, recipes, family, life, sports, humour and pets to name a few, as well as daily brain-training games, competitions, discussion forums and great offers from trusted brands.GrownUps works across many major brands and advertisers of all sizes with the focus always being about how to make life better for the member.

Part of management team growing GrownUps.co.nz to become the leading online lifestyle magazine, social club & brain-training hub for active New Zealanders aged 50+ - culminating in the largest proportion of people in that age group of any commercial website throughout NZ.The site welcomed up to 150,000 monthly visitors, with a dbase of 80,000+ members and ranked as one of the best-ranked in NZ for both time spent per page and session time.Built a quality audience where 54% of visitors owned their own homes mortgage free, making GrownUps #1 for commercial sites in NZ.Innovative revenue channels resulted in ROI often 4-5x that of many mass market sites.Started as employee in 2008 and became director & shareholder from 2010, involved in acquisition by Cigna 2016 - 2017.
