Pricing and Product Data Science. Tech Lead Manager.• Uber Eats Marketplace (9/2018 - 2/2023): I worked on promotion incentives pricing to grow demand in domestic and international markets. Optimized the deployment of $20M+ monthly budgets through targeting pipelines built around causal ML models across 10+ countries. Managed a team of data scientists across eater incentives and structural pricing.• Driver Earnings (7/2017 - 9/2018): my main project was building Long Pickup Fees for high ETA dispatches in order to boost driver acceptance rates. Over 2% of all trips worldwide use this feature.• Global Growth, Asia Pacific (4/2017 - 7/2017): I worked on streamlining the onboarding funnel for new drivers, particularly in Indonesia, by identifying document-upload bottlenecks and fixing unclear comms.

Marketing Data Science.• Working on funnel EDA, data-logging, conversion rate forecasting, and client prospecting. Tonal's long time-to-purchase brings unique challenges in the digital B2C space.

Business Operations Data Science.• Forecasted the business capacity of Styling Ops using regression models for time series and survival data.• Built and maintained an end-to-end data science pipeline, which included ETL automation, modeling components, and the visualization and communication of results.• Detected production shortfalls and recommended corrective action to business stakeholders through internal dashboards. Corrective action included scheduling hiring events and triggering incentivized payment schemes for stylists.• Investigated how stylists interact with recommender engines by examining click-stream event data to discover usage patterns that optimize stylist productivity and algorithmic effectiveness.

Product Analytics.• Co-developed and oversaw the day-to-day operations of PRiME, Nor1's flagship e-hospitality PRicing and MErchandising recommendation engine producing annual revenue of $12M.• Ensured PRiME's automated training data and updated models ran smoothly, as well as monitored the performance of the engine as a whole. Major development work included data exploration and visualization, machine learning, online optimization, and offline tuning.• Worked on a Bayesian Bandit A/B testing platform to optimize Nor1's touch-and-feel, including guest user experience, subject lines, offer ranking, and the wording of greeting messages.• Led pilot projects to boost casino and front-desk upsells by implementing guest-classification methods in Python, resulting in increased market presence for Nor1.• Briefed major international hotel chains including Hilton and IHG, and was requested to attend year-end meetings in Las Vegas with Caesars Entertainment to help forge a renewed corporate contract. • Responsible for ad-hoc analyses based on a variety of client requests.

Undergrad internship.• Modeled bank losses due to operational risk as Poisson processes in MATLAB. This was in response to the changes brought on by Basel II, in order to enhance national banking regulations. Performed under minimal supervision.• Analyzed loan structures that were made to businesses that subsequently entered bankruptcy as an initiative to amend credit scoring measures.

Undergrad internship.• Generated investment performance reports on proprietary platforms for high-net worth clientele, composed of estates, charitable trusts, and celebrities.• Devised portfolio reallocations using asset class strategies to respond to diverse risk profiles, while monitoring investment opportunities in developed and emerging markets across all asset types.
